The evolution of Archean tectonic regimes and lithosphere-asthenosphere coupling mechanisms represents a cutting-edge focus in global Earth sciences. To advance academic exchange and collaboration in this field, the Center for Global Tectonics (CGT) at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) will host the "Archean Tectonic Styles: Constraints and Inferences" symposium in Wuhan from May 17 to 18, 2025. This event is organized under the auspices of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the University of Science and Technology of China, and the International Lithosphere Program (ILP) TF2023-1 Task Force.
The symposium will feature keynote speeches, invited presentations, and poster sessions to showcase breakthroughs and address key scientific questions in Archean tectonic evolution. Discussions will systematically review disciplinary advancements and explore early Earth geodynamic mechanisms. We warmly welcome your participation and insights to join this academic endeavor!
